Position Summary

Stanion Wholesale Electric Co., Inc., a regional leader in the wholesale distribution of electrical goods, services, and supplies, seeks a qualified and motivated Inventory Returns Specialist. Responsible for expediting the removal of surplus inventory and dead stock from branches.

Responsibilities

• Identifying surplus or dead inventory for return. Maintain return notes process.
• Submitting return requests to the vendors.
• Negotiating terms or special returns.
• Entering approved RGA’s in the computer system. Following up with vendors of RGS’s.
• Assist branches with product maintenance on surplus material.
• Attends training sessions and department meetings as requested.

Skills/Physical Demands/Additional Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written skills required.
• Strong basic math skills to maintain and control inventory expenses.
• Ability to create and present ideas and reports.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to assign and delegate tasks.
• Show strong attention to detail.
• Microsoft Windows, internet, and e-mail skills.
• Driver’s license that meets job requirements and a motor vehicle driving record that satisfies the requirements of our casualty and liability                insurance program. For the state of KS Class-C, MO Class-E & OK Class-D.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
