Kanza is looking for a Tender Truck Driver at the Iuka location to tender rig operators while learning to operate rigs, as well as general vehicle and equipment maintenance. In addition, this role is expected to provide maximum service to customers.

This position requires frequent lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds, and occasionally it requires lifting and/or moving over 100 pounds. The position may frequently require the need to climb ladders (may range from 20’ to 180’) and stairs.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for tendering fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to applicators and/or customers

· Loads and unloads fertilizer and chemicals, fills anhydrous ammonia tanks

· Responsible for the upkeep and repairs for all vehicles and equipment and reporting any issues to management

· Operates all tending equipment

· Responsible for operating within the credit and operations guidelines

· Provides excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations, responding promptly to customer needs, resolving questions, complaints, and concerns immediately and meeting commitments

· Performs routine maintenance and repair on all agronomy equipment

A successful Tender Truck Driver must have a Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) and enjoy serving people and building relationships within the Kanza team and our community of patrons.
